Large variety of gifts, leather goods, luggage, handbags, totes and curios.
In 1932, Mr. Jesus Garcia a talented Artisan who sold his hand made dolls and puppets, bracelets and other Mexican curios was approached by Mrs. Christine Sterling about selling his wares in a puesto on Olvera Street. Before then he and his wife Mercedes Ochoa Garcia sold their hand made goods on a blanket or table. The first puesto (stand) was built by Mr. Garcia but was later replaced.
The family with eight children participated in all the events and Tito shined shoes while his little sisters led by Gracie danced with castanets for the enjoyment of the many visitors. Today Tito continues to run the puesto with his wife Lili.
